Unveiled in 2023, The David Guard MABECS Scholarship gives students a chance to leap to greater heights.
In remembrance of Mr. David Guard, whose kindness, inspiration, and dedication to helping others will forever be memorialised through this scholarship. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the University of Birmingham for partnering with us in this endeavour. The David Guard MABECS Scholarship will cover tuition fees for a 1-year Taught Postgraduate Master's programme, with two scholarships available for 2024.
David Guard founded MABECS purely based on his passion to help others enjoy learning. In his memory, The David Guard MABECS Scholarship was set up to award full scholarships annually to 2 deserving students.
Everyone is encouraged to apply because the scholarship is awarded to students who are looking to further their studies in various fields of study. In partnership with the University of Birmingham, students can specialise in:
Arts and Law, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Life and Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Biological Sciences, Psychology, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Medical and Dental Sciences, Political Science.
Students need to be registered with MABECS.
Have an accepted offer from the University of Birmingham.
