I am Chong Yee Hien from Sandakan, Sabah. I am 22 years old and I am a final year MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering student in University of Hull. Hull is a good place for me as it resembles a small town like my hometown Sandakan but with 4 seasons. Although Hull does not have lots of tall buildings like in London,it has enough modern facilities like light speed internet and rail services that connect people to almost every place in the UK. The living expenses in Hull is also very affordable as compared to most of the other cities in the UK. The University of Hull is also equipped with a lot of facilities like labs with fast computers and libraries that won some awards. The university is located 20 minutes away by bus from the city centre of Hull and there is a bus stop in front of the main entrance that makes it convenient.
In 2017, I joined ONCAMPUS Hull for my foundation studies. The lecturers are nice and I made lots of friends from different countries like Kuwait and El Salvador. The lectures are organised and number of students in a class is appropriate so that everyone gets a chance to ask for help from the lecturer when we face problems on our studies. The management team of ONCAMPUS is very helpful and responsive too. They try their best to help the students to solve problems that is not related to studies like accommodations too. There were also fun activities like trip going to local museums in Hull and group lunch in restaurant organised every few months.
It was a very good experience studying in ONCAMPUS Hull. I am almost completing my degree here. I can already tell I will miss this place badly.
