Full Registration with GMC UK & MMC
Students will gain full registration with the GMC UK and/or MMC with an internship as a pre-registration house officer in an approved clinical setting. Malaysian students will be able to take their pre-registration internship (2 years) in a house officer post provided by the Malaysian Government in a Government Hospital.

Upon completion of housemanship period, students will be eligible for a full registration in Malaysia, but Malaysian citizens will be required by the Ministry of Health to undertake 2 years of further compulsory service. For full registration with the GMC UK, students need to complete the pre-registration internship at one of the approved hospitals for provisionally registered doctors and be awarded a Certificate of Experience by the University.
